April 4, 2005 at 8:17 pmNo the Matrox card is not supported.
I’d suggest you try an Nvidia based card such as the Quadro4 for multi-montiors.

April 4, 2005 at 9:37 pmYou can add an extra PCI based nvidia card to support a 3rd monitor.

April 4, 2005 at 9:48 pmBTW, the board you mentioned – the SE-7525gp2 doesn’t support AGP cards. It only takes PCI Express 16x and x4.

April 4, 2005 at 11:29 pmThe Supermicro X5DAE is a great AGP dual Xeon board (2.8Ghz or higher) that supports Decklink SP.
You can also use Decklink SP with a lower cost Supermicro P4SCT+II Pentium 4 3.0 GHz or higher.
Most nvidia based graphics cards will work fine with no issues. Not all boards will support multi-monitor configs.

April 12, 2005 at 9:09 pmHi Ernesto!
Matrox Parhelia is working fine with DeckLink SP. I have two workstation based on different motherboard (one – dual xeon, another – single P4 3.2).
Use latest matrox driver and latest Blackmagic driver – and enjoy! As a sample – configuration of my very stable workstation:
MB – ASUS PC-DL Deluxe
CPU – Dual Xeon 3.0
Video – Matrox Parhelia with dual LCD monitor and one composite – connected TV monitor
Boot HDD – Samsung 7200 RPM
Temp/Swap/Scratch HDD – Samsung 7200 RPM
Video array – Stripe set of 4 x 250 GB SATA HDD with Promise FastTrak S150 SX4 RAID controller
Beta tester’s device 🙂 – Blackmagic DeckLink SPWindows XP SP2
Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5.1We make on it TV serial be made of over 120 hour Beta SP source.
Good luck! (Luke is handsome)
