  DeckLink SDI

  Hi folks,

  Another pioneer still trying to push the envelope of a favourite tool.
  I just upgraded to 10.8.5, Media100 2.1.4 and have not been able to get the DeckLink SDI video card to work with the latest Blackmagic software 9.9.3 and two other versions below that. I’ve tried reseating the card in a different slot and everything else I could think of with no change.

  The screen displays changes in format against a black screen but nothing else. It works with FCP 7 and not in M100.

  I used to use a Kona LHe card that was extremely reliable. I should probably replace with it with the Kona LHe Plus but I was trying to save a little money.

  Anyone had any luck with DeckLink video SDI card? I have a feeling this card is not supported by Media100 in its latest versions. I spoke with tech support today and they had no solutions. Blackmagic has never officially accepted Media 100 and have no solutions.

  I thought I’d share my dead end story so others don’t waste time with this as a solution.
