  Decklink SDI capture with RED metadata support?

  RED cameras embed some metadata in the SDI output. In particular, I’m interested in the clip name and the record flag. Does anybody know of a software that can record a Decklink SDI feed and
  a) automatically start/stop recording based on the camera’s record flag, and
  b) automatically name recorded files based on the RED clip metadata?

  QtakeHD does exactly this, but they only work with Aja, not Blackmagic. I have already filed a feature request for Media Express, but it seems there’s a hardware limitation on the Decklink cards themselves. Can anyone from BMD explain this, and let us know if a firmware update might ever fix this?
