Wondering if anyone has run into this latest quirk that is bothering me with the Decklink HD extreme:

If I power my system up with the attached BetaSP-Player already on, the Decklink firmware update always pops up, demanding a firmware update which always fails. The only solution is to restart the system with the BetaSP off, then turn it on after post. The firmware updater remains silent and I can capture “normally”.

Has anyone else had problems with the firmware updater showing up at odd times???

    regards,
    Ninetto M.

mine does the same thing allthough there is no beta deck.
at the begining of every day day at bootup it asks to update the firmware other wise the black magic wont show up in FCP so i do it and restart and everytings cool just worry that this REwrighting drivers over drivers is going to build up some junk in my systeem folder
