    Hello !

is it possible to have output from SDI out of this card to an external monitor. I have been using this card for 3 years in final cut without a glitch and I would like to do the same thing in Premiere CS 5.5. I cant figure out how to have output at all. Do I have to enable it in premiere somewhere? Any advice is highly appreciated.

    Hi Ivan,

To output from your Premiere Pro timeline via your Blackmagic card you will want to use one of the Blackmagic Design sequence settings. Amongst the sequence presets in the New Sequence window should be a folder for these. if you don’t see them it may be that the driver for the Blackmagic card was installed prior to installing Premiere Pro. If you re-install the latest driver I think these should then appear.

You have to re-install the BMD drivers AFTER you install CS5.x for them to show up. – FYI
