  Decklink HD Extreme Real time effects ……..????

  Hi !

  On the BMD site there is a sentance saing that the card handles some kind of effects and thet it does it in real time.

  Please could any body tell me what kid of effects and how can you set that up ….????

  Maby I am an idiot … and that is possible that I am …

  but what is one supposed to do to see those effects should I eddit only in with Black Magoc codeck and Apple Intermidiate … use their timeline template or what …

  For instance i would think of doing som synh work i have two types of footage one from XDCAM an one from HDV … should I get that recaptured to native codecks (apple intermidiet black magic ….).

  I would like to set the opaticyty to 50% of one leyer putted above the other and find the sync spot and get that prev-ed on an external monitour….

  Am I insane could any one the me the right workflow that a i shuld faithfully work with….?

  I work on OSX with FCP Studio and Premiere CS 4 + Aftere Effects

  and on Vista 64 bit with CS4 Production… something

  Machine is Mac Pro 3.0 Ghz 8 GB Ram
  can any one point out a recomended set up for that…???
