    Hi,
I have a Decklink HD Extreme on a Mac Pro 3Ghz that is over a year old now…
Yesterday the card began outputting a loud and consistent buzzing sound through the XLR audio outputs.
I have checked all components (monitors, mixing desk and cables) and all are working fine so it has been isolated to the card.
I dont think it is the breakout cable because it is a loud consistent sound, not a loose connection crackling or something like that.

The machine was left on overnight rendering and i left it working perfectly. There is still video output coming out the SDI to the broadcast monitor but sound is stuffed.

    Any ideas?
    Is the A/D converter blown?
Is there any hope for this card or am i in for a new card?

    Many thanks,
    Warwick
