Hey I am getting confusing signals about using the Blackmagic Decklink HD Extreme to monitor the desktop?

Is there anyway to do this? Either have a 3rd window, or have it as my deckstop.

There is no way to get the Decklink HD Extreme to monitor your desktop.

I heard that the option used to be in there, like the option on the KONA3, but Blackmagic got rid of it, but they might put the option back in?

The option is gone in the AJA cards too. It is too taxing on the system…that option was removed from all capture card as far as I know. NO plans to put it back.

As I understand it the ‘desktop’ monitoring was removed from Blackmagic drivers because it conflicted with the Apple ‘Color’ Application.
I think it will become a feature again when Apple fix it at their end.
But as reported by many people it was a great feature.
