    Hello,

    Okay in Adobe premeire Pro, if you are capturingvia Firewire you have to enable in Device control (DV device) 1394.

    This should solve the problem.

    Warm Regards,

    I’m not capturing via firewire. I have the decklink card to capture with, but hasn’t worked yet.

    Hi,

    After installing the DeckLink Extreme in to a Mac or PC, you might find that you cannot capture video. The reason for this is that you first need to specify which video input you are using, ie SDI, component analog or composite analog.

    In Mac OS X, open the System Preferences and then click on Blackmagic DeckLink.
    In Windows XP, go to the Start menu, click on Settings, open Control Panels and then the DeckLink control panel.

    Look at the settings for Video Connections and set the Input as desired, ie:
    * Digital SDI
    * Analog NTSC/PAL (Y In) – also known as composite analog.
    * Analog Y, B-Y, R-Y – also known as component analog.

    Video output is always sent to both SDI and analog outputs simultaneously so the only choice you might want to make here is between component and composite output.

    Now that you have made these changes, you should be able to capture video with DeckLink Extreme.

    I’ve tried both component and composite. Neither works on the XP system. It works flawlessly on Mac with FCP.

    Hi,

    What is the source of your video, eg Digibeta, Betacam SP or something else?
