Hi, just a quick question to aid my purchasing choice!

I’m a little confused about using this card and 2k… Does it require that I use the 3Gbps socket to a corresponding 3Gbps socket on a broadcast monitor, or does the dual link provide a 2k signal?

    Thanks

    J

I have figured that perhaps it’s only for 4:4:4 otherwise it’s fine using the dual link at 4:2:2 at 2k…

    Hrm…well. To be more specific.

It can dual dual link 2k output as well as 3Gb 2k output. If you want to connect that to a 30″ monitor for full res monitor output you will need an HDLink Pro which will support the 3Gb in and convert to DVI.

What type of monitor are you using that is not taking the input? Are you sure the monitor has a 3Gb input?

    Sincerely,
