  Decklink Extreme 3 HDMI output

  Hi there.

  Just installed my new decklink extreme 3 in my mac pro (nehalem 2X2.26) and I’m just setting it up now.

  One of the main reasons to get the card was to drive HDMI out to my sharp 52 display for preview when editing.

  I was wondering if anyone here has gotten true 1080p to work out of the card. It seems the best I can get is 1080i, which looks like garbage for playback.

  When I adjust the output to 1920/1080 24 hz any 24 frame videos playback jittery (the quicktime info says they’re playing 24) whereas they look fine on my other monitor (60hz)

  I guess the issue is whether the decklink extreme actually supports “Full 1080” over the hdmi jack.
