    Hello,
If I understand correctly, Blackmagic reintroduced the extended desktop option for decklink cards.
Is it possible on windows 7 to use the 2 SDI outputs of a decklink duo as 2nd and 3d monitors ?
I need to use it with a software that can only use windows secondary monitor as outpu.

    Thank you

    Stefano

    Hi Stefano,

I’m afraid that this wouldn’t be possible. The Extended Desktop feature was only enabled on Mac OSX. It will not work on Windows. However the DeckLink Duo too does not support the Extended Desktop feature. This really is limited to certain x4 PCIe cards such as the DeckLink HD Extreme 3D cards and the two Multibridge models.

    Thank you Chris,
it’s a pity that this funcionality is no longer supported on Windows, it was very very useful and it would be with VJ’s softwares that only support secondary monitors as output
