I just purchased a Decklink Studio card for Davinci use and noticed that in Windows it will convert 23.98 to 29.97 but this feature is not available in OSX. Does anybody know if this is going to be fixed? Kind of important because there is so much 23.98 footage these days and not that many monitors that play 23.98.

Also I get very inconsistent behavior with the Studio in PPro mac. Often the I get no video out when selecting the source window. But then sometimes it works. I did a test yesterday by making a 720P sequence and dropped some 1080 23.98 footage into it. For a while the BM card would switch back and forth from 720 to 1080 as I selected the source or record windows, but at some point the source switched to 720 even though the footage loaded was 1080. And then it stayed in 720 when going back to a 1080 timeline. I’ve tried every setting for PPro and the BM card but I’m getting very inconsistent behavior with this card in PPro CS6.

no it doesn’t like in final cut pro, but you can put

it in a 29.97 timeline and it will add pulldown
