Wanted to bring this up again as it is a daily problem for me. Wondering if it is for others as well. For some reason Combustion does not play well with my Decklink HD pro on Windows. If I use the Decklink as a framebuffer in Combustion then I can’t use it for any other app. I have to disable framebuffer use in Combustion or close Combustion entirely. I’ve been told this is an Autodesk problem. Are others experiencing this? Is it this way on Mac? I’m trying to get attention wherever I can so something gets done about this. It’s a big problem for me.

    Thanks.

    Hi Dean,

As mentioned previously in our correspondence, there’s nothing we can do about this. Our hardware makes itself available to the applications and if they don’t release it, the problems you’re facing will happen. This used to happen on the Mac version as well but was addressed in a Combustion update. We have already spoken to them about this issue on Windows and they have indicated that they are looking into it.

    regards
