decklink cabling
I currently have a DP2.0G5 and FCP 5. I want to get the decklink HD card to be able to monitor HD from my machine. Does the basic card come with the
necessary cabling, or will I have to purchase it seperately? I take it I will also need the cabling if I want to capture component output from my FX1?

If you go to the BMD website, the info on what comes with the card is listed. Some cards have a breakout cable. Other cables are never included because there are too many possible combinations.
