  Decklink and AVID open IO

  So, is BMD working on fixing this or what? Avid has kindly implemented hardware switching so if Avid is in the background or the hardware is turned off other applications like Davinci, AE, etc. can use the hardware. Except that with Decklink HD extreme, it doesn’t work.

  I have two other systems with AJA hardware that are handling the switching just fine; it’s only the Decklink that won’t actually release the hardware when Avid turns it off.

  Thoughts? Comments? Suggestions?
