Deckline HD Extreme SDI monitor
Posted by Harry Dawson on January 8, 2009 at 4:44 amHi. I have a Panasonic BT-LH80WP with an SDI option. I was hoping to
monitor 720p from the FCP timeline. It displays a still frame but
does not move. What’s up?Eric Pascal replied 17 years, 3 months ago 3 Members · 4 Replies -

January 8, 2009 at 4:58 amyour capture compression does not match your sequence compression.
May I suggest that you open your clip, and then open a new sequence, and I bet it plays.bob zelin

January 8, 2009 at 7:21 pmOK. Compression matches (I’ve been editing on this for a year without
rendering timeline) but I was trying to play through the SDI HD connector in the BT-LH80WP, so I went to RGB it plays fine 720p 59.94. Then of course I had to have the right settings chosen in the video output in FCP. (Got a new machine for Christmas, with a new Decklink card and it takes a bit to get everything up and running.) -

January 8, 2009 at 7:40 pmOK an update. The SDI HD connection is now working. I upgraded the new software and firmware from Declink that just came out. Maybe that did it.

January 22, 2009 at 3:05 pmI’ve bought a Decklink HD Extreme and I don’t know how to capture with, however it is correctly installed. I have Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 ‘n Pro 2.0. Could someone help me ? Should I buy a tape deck RS-422 or can I directly capture via camera.
