Hello again groovy guys and groovy gals

FCP 5.0.4 NTSC, OS 10.4.7, Kona LH, Sony UVW1800

I have laid down a show onto betaSP approx 12 min long, and now i want to go back and do 2 or 3 AV insert edits to clean up some stuff. My first edit is roughtly a minute ten seconds, but when i got to perform the edit to tape i get this error message:
“the deck may be unable to perform this edit since the edit duration is only one frame”

has anyone found a solution for this? so far the only thing i can do that works is restart my computer.

i cant mark out on the edito to tape window as its dimmed

is this a case of bad prefs?

i ask cuz i really do not want to trash em unless necessary

    thanx in advance

when you have IN and OUT in the timeline there is no need to set OUT point in the edit to tape window, I’m using Decklink Extreme with my FCP and the INSERT and ASEBMLE edit work fine on my uvw 1800

Check to see if an “in” or “out” point is sitting on or adjacent to a dissolve or crossfade. I’ve seen that cause similar errors in my setup.
