Does anyone know where I can get a decently priced DVX100A or B? I have been using the DVC80 and I’m ready to take the plunge to 24p. Also, Windows Movie Maker can handle 24p right? Just kidding, I use Avid! I already know about eBay, there are some deals on there, but I was thinking maybe from a used equipment store. Just curious. Thanks for your help!

What’s decently priced? Decently priced would be around $1600 to $2800. Does anyone know where I could find one in that range? A brand new 100B is at a good price, but I need something a little cheaper.

I saw some on the Costco website, here is the link. They are new, but I fugred with costco, you know you’re getting a good price.

Try http://www.newegg.com, the Panasonic 100B is $2849 after the current Panasonic $350 rebate, plus you get the Magic Bullet software and DVX book with the rebate.

But…when you get the camera from NewEgg, call Panasonic’s rebate hotline immediately and verify that the serial number on the camera is eligible for the rebate. The first 100B camera that Newegg sent me did not have an “eligible” serial number. Newegg could not explain why but they did send me a replacement camera which did have an “eligible” serial number. Weird. Buy new, don’t buy the one “open stock” 100B Newegg has on their website; I am pretty sure that is my returned camera with the “invalid” serial number, and besides, the Panasonic rebate is not available on open stock items.

Whats Decent ???/ LOL. Oh gosh. Funny. This forum (as opposed to the other ones on this site has some attitude huh) i guess has real experienced people who are so high in the clouds thats is so difficult to get an answer from them on a free, hangout forum. Thats when George Lucas has given them the day off i guess.
