Which is why they’re not posting availability on 8 and 12 cores IMHO. No promise on those because they’re not ready. Obviously something has been holding back those being listed for some bit of time now.

Considering my Apple guy was able to configure with those options last week AND give me prices; I don’t think that’s the case.
But we shall see soon enough.

Why didn’t Andy just point to IBC himself? WTF?! He was making sound like some super-secret thing.
I don’t get it.
I came in here last week with wild claims of MacPro pricing. But I told everyone straight out what my source was. If my info turns out to be inaccurate, so be it.
But if I can’t credit a source for info (cause I can’t reveal it) then I’m sure as heck not going to present it as fact.

Now, Bill I appreciate the olive branch, and have enjoyed many of your posts for some time, but I think you have to go back a very long ways to when I was “yelling at you” for liking X, if, perhaps, ever. That’s not what I’ve generally taken exception with in our many Battle Royals.
What has made me warm to you in the last half year are acknowledgments like this:

The only thing I would disagree with, in that statement, is that I think YOU have finally arrived at that position. I’ve been there for a very long time. I ceased being angry about X more than a year and a half ago. I’ve been mostly interested in trying to understand its strengths and weaknesses, and how it may or may not be useful to me since then. I believe a backwards search of my posts would generally bare that out.
