Not sure if this is best suited for the Kona forum, because I am using my Kona 3G with FCP 7, but I am using a Terenex 2d to do the downconvert from 23.98 1080 to digibeta, and I have issues with frame offset. Mainly that the offset changes at random. If it was always a -7frame offset that would be fine, but some days its -6 or -4 too. Is there a firmware patch or something I’m missing?

I know I can use the Kona 3G card to do the downconvert, but the quality isn’t as good.

I would think Blackmagic support would be the logical place for this question…not here or the Kona forum.

There’s a good chance if you properly gen-locked the Terenex, the source (VTR?) and the capturing device, the delay would hold consistent.
