DCP files banned from a film festival if created using Wraptor plugin
Hello – I need some BS detection assistance – my short film has been accepted to a film festival that uses a production service that will “summarily dismiss” any submitted dcp files that were created using a Wraptor plug in. Is anyone aware of issues with files created with the Wraptor plugin in AME that would justify this policy? We recently screened three shorts that I encoded with the Wraptor plugin at a local theater with no issues and the projectionist there had no concerns about the files. I used the default 2K 24fps settings and the files looked and sounded great. Of course they are happy to create a new dcp for me for $110.
