    Hi to all,

Been looking high and low for and answer to this doesn’t seem like there’s anything out there. If yes, please do point me in the right direction.

I’m looking to go from Davinci back into Premiere via a flat DPX sequence (meaning the whole film).

Essentially, what I need is to have a DPX conform of my Davinci export with cuts. Tried many different things but nothing works…

There must be a way of doing this as I know other post-houses are doing similar workflows…

    Any help would be great!

    Thanks

Not in PRP that I know of. Smoke and other apps let you conform edls to DPX sequences. PrP does not to my knowledge.

Premiere is still basically an overblown consumer program or prosumer if you prefer. A DPX workflow is a very high end approach. Nobody cutting weddings, corporate, local TV commercials, low to mid end shows or doing independent short films is likely to want to use it or have the resources to use it. Since this is the main crowd who uses Premiere (with very few exceptions) it may explain why Adobe hasn’t developed it’s DPX workflow much.
