July 7, 2013 at 6:17 amI just downloaded the DaVinci resolve lite.
I want to use this with Edius 5.5 or higher version but don’t know how to install it in to edius as plug-ins.
If I install as standalone software then how can I take edited timeline clips in edius to da vinci resolve lite , do color correction there and then again take it back to edius timeline ?
A complete workflow or tutorial is highly appreciated. Thanks.Regards

February 12, 2014 at 8:30 pmHello Guys .
I am experimenting the same problem. When I touch my Media, DAVINCI just crashes. I don’t get any warning message or anything weird, the application seems to be working fine until that point.
The GPU that is show in Davinci’s PREFERENCE Panel is: ATI Radeon HD 6770M, But the Chipset model in the graphic panel of my IMAC “About this mac” shows this Chipset Model: AMD Radeon HD 6770M. I dont really know if this can generate the crashing , but i am kind of new here and i will be so grateful with any help you can give me.
thanks -

February 13, 2014 at 7:05 pmResolve does not support AMD Radeon graphics under OSX 10.6.8. In fact, AMD graphics are only supported in OSX 10.8.4 and higher.

February 13, 2014 at 7:32 pmYes, upgrade OSX to Mountain Lion or higher. Then Resolve will run.
However, V10 Resolve minimum suggested graphics VRAM is 2GB. You only have 512MB. This MIGHT be enough for some level of HD work. But it’s far below what we recommend, so no guarantees on how well that will work for you.

March 17, 2014 at 10:01 amI’m experiencing this same thing in Resolve 10 Light. As soon as I touch the icon, the program crashes out of sight. I can load any Sony MXF file rendered in Vegas Pro 12 and the files will successfully appear in the Library and Media Pool. The formats include: HDCAM SR_ NTSC DV _ and HD. The problem arises when you attempt to put the clip on the timeline–as soon as you touch it, the program crashes. What is interesting is that if I render small sections of the clip (maybe a second or two), I can put them all on the timeline. If I try to put a 7 minute clip (1-6 Mkb) on the timeline it crashes.
I’m running PC Windows 7 Service Pack 1 Intel Pentium(4) 2.8G 4G RAM Quadro 600.
