    DaVinci Resolve Keyboard

For speeding up the color grading process, there is the necessity of having a control surface. I’ve built one of them.

    Features

Potentially it replicates the functions of:
    – 2 ON/OFF Switch
    – 30 Knobs
    – 3 Trackball
    – 3 Wheels
    – 100+ Keys

That’s possible remapping a keyboard with a complex series of scripts and using it with a pointing device.

    Compatibility

Obviusly you can use almost every keyboard and a mouse, a trackpad or a trackball that you own.

The scripting was done using the software Controllermate (more infos here: OrderedBytes).

    Supported platforms:
    – Mac OS X
    Screen resolutions:
    – 2560×1600
    – 2560×1440
    – 1920×1200
    – 1920×1080
    – 1680×1050
    Keyboards:
    – All the most popular. Keyboards that use specific drivers (Ex: Apple Keyboard) are excluded.
    Pointing devices:
    – All.

    How much does it cost

The possible users are distribuited all over the world and I choose that selling only the script by the web avoiding every kind of pack shipment is the better thing to do, garanting to you the maximum flexibility.
In this way you could also use your own devices.
For less then 95$ (69€) you’ll receive by email the scripts and the PDF/PSD (editable) to print and paste on your keys.
It’s an awesome price considering the increment of productivity that you’ll gain.

    Availability

    Soon, very soon.
Now it’s working really good. I’m adding last features and make it ready for all resolution (currently works only on 2560×1440 and just 40% of features on all resolutions).
I can say that will be out before the end of the year 😉

During this week I’ll post a video that shows how it works.

Post every question that you have, I’ll be happy to reply to everyone.

I don’t know if it’s against the forum’s rules to post this kind of thread, let me know if I’m wrong and I’ll delete it.
