  • Davinci Resolve cropping in playback monitor through DeckLink Extreme 4k 12G

    Hi Friends,

We recently got a new PC at my work and we’ve set it all up and are currently running it through its jumps. We are using a DeckLink Extreme 4K 12 G for our output to our color monitor, and while it works perfectly fine in Avid, it’s cropping the output from DaVinci Resolve. I’ve been fiddling with all sorts of DaVinci settings, project settings, DeckLink settings, monitor settings and nothing seems to change it. Has anyone else run into this?

We’re on Davinci Resolve Studio 12.5, the monitor is an LG-31MU97B, DeckLink is outputting to the monitor via HDMI
PC Specs: Windows 10 Pro, Version 1607,2 Intel Xeon CPU E5-2630 v4@ 2.2 GHz, 32 GB RAM
The footage I’m looking at is 4800×2700.

    Thanks in advance!

Your monitor output scaling is set to center crop. Page 93-> in the manual.

But on MY CM171, it’s showing coped image

    My setup is
    Resolve 12.5
Mac Pro with dell ultra sharp 24 inch monitor
    FSI CM171 as my monitor
Ultra studio monitor with SDI OUT

Here….I’ve attached the settings I use. Make sure that in the IMAGE SCALING setting, it’s set to 1080, and not UHD…
