    DaVinci Resolve 11 Configuration

    I am currently in pre-production on a zero budget Half-Hour length YouTube Christmas special combining both animation and puppetry. When I complete and distribute this production, I’ll have a product that will be able to get some investors to invest in more advanced productions that require more advanced equipment, such as DaVinci Resolve. Here’s a configuration for Davinci Resolve 11 (or 10.1.4) that will enable me to edit raw 4K footage:

    – LGA 2011 socket motherboard
    – Intel 4 core, 6 core, or Xeon 8 core processor
    – NVIDIA 6 GB graphics card
    – Creative Xi-Fi Titanium sound card
    – USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt
    – Windows 7/8/8.1
    – 16-32 GB of RAM
    – 256 GB SSD
    – 3 TB HDD
    – DVD/Blu-ray Player/Burner
    – New Decklink 4K

    Will this configuration be able to work well with DaVinci Resolve 11 or 10.1.4? Do you have any other recommended configurations? How can I possibly find this configuration with everyone turning to smartphones and tablets for their computing needs?
