    Davinci resolve 10 crashes Mavericks (total system freeze)

    Hello Everyone,

    Mavericks is brought to it’s knees when I start Resolve 10 (all V10 releases) and click the color tab.
    Is anyone else experiencing this?

    Yes, edit page works. Whenever it crashes, it is either when I click on the color tab or am working in the color tab. I found a link deeper in the forum with a group of other people experiencing the same thing.

    I have a Radeon 5770 on Mavericks 9.1. Mavericks 9.0 exhibited the same thing.

    Using Resolve 10.0.2, set the Resolve Preferences – Video I/O and GPU – GPU processing mode: to OpenCL, save the prefs, restart Resolve, and see if that has any effect.

    This seems to have worked. So far is hasn’t frozen the system up.

    I will keep you posted here on site over the coming days.
