    Hi Guys,

just installed the new Beta for PC (Nvidia GTX 470). I did some tests with H.264 DSLR footage and it was running flawlessly during a session with several nodes on each clip.
Got damn – this is software is awesome and free!

    Though problems occurs when rendering:
Depending on the format preset I choose in the render dialogue some colorshifts happen to the rendered files. First I thought its the typical gammashift QT thing – but there is much more going wrong. Colors are wrong as H.264, Mp4, and YUV formats. All looking washed out.

Only format looking correct is the QT Uncompressed RGB 4:2:2

Can somebody confirm that? Any clue why it is doing wrong the rendering?

This may be because you aren’t flagging the correct RGB full scale / Linear Video rendering, or tagging the input video correctly.

When you mention “washed out”, I see this sometimes if this has been mishandled somewhere — the full range 0-1023 is being mapped to 94-940, so your blacks are no longer black, white never makes it past about 90 IRE, tops, and the gamma is, of course completely hooped.
