    okay, I admit it, I’m learning FCP after 13 years of Avid, but I’m doing really great…but, my question is…I’ve imported some P2 and Sony card files into FCP 6.0.6 and when I use the “show last modified” it shows me the date and time I brought it into the computer. Is there something I’m missing here in order to see the date and time the media was actually shot? thanks in advance

    unfortunately not.
    FCP doesn’t have a “Date Created” column 🙁
    maybe there’s been one added in FCP7, but i kind of doubt it.

    can you sort by Timecode? (Media Start column)
