Datavideo SE-800 and CG-100
We are a small TV station starting up in Uganda. I have bought SE-800 and CG-100 and so far I can create very nice stuff on the CG, it all flies, moves, ticks and rolls. But – cannot mix the ticker over the programming that comes in via satellite. Tried all sorts of things and connections, and still nothing. The programme and the ticker play very well on the two separate preview monitors, but no mixing/overlay takes place, ever… What am I doing wrong? HELP!!!!!

you are on the wrong forum. You should be on the Broadcast Video forum.
The signal coming from your Satellite is not genlocked to your SD-800. You must use a Frame Synchronizer to lock the satellite signal to your SE-800. Datavideo makes the least expensive Frame Synchronizer.
