database / catalog outside of BRU?
Is there a way I can get into the contents of my BRU PE archive list and export the data to Excel?
I’d like to have a list of all my tapes and their contents that I can use the Excel Sort feature to group my media assets by client, media type, etc., and to be able to use its Find feature to locate and create lists for media restoration.
Is this possible without being incredibly difficult?
Seems this data must be in the BRU Environment file you can back up from within BRU PE, but that file exports as an application. I can open it with TextWrangler (which opens just about every file type), but then I’m stumped about what I can do.
