  data rate firewire

  hi all…

  i have a problem setting data rate with firewire…
  can firewire capture data rate about 8 mb/s ?
  which codec i must use to get that data rate?
  or can FCP setting data rate manually..like velocity or adobe premiere?

  because 3.6 mb/s to low resolution for my project.
