Dashed Elastic Lines Parented to Nulls
I am in need of a solution. I’m making a bubble like timeline and am needing dashed lines to be parented to my circles (as they will be floating in space).
I know the beam effect works but I cannot get a dashed line with that effect.
The puppet tool only really bends my line too and I need it to be stiff and always stay centered.
Attached is a simple layout of what I’m talking about.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can make dotted lines using shape layers too. If it’s a matter of just creating 3 lines and some larger circles, I would just use some shape layers and just keyframe the different elements to match—won’t automatically update but wouldn’t take to much work to get to work.
