Damaged Film Effect
I am looking for a damaged film effect that resembles the ones in this film:
(starts after about 18 seconds and reappears throughout the whole movie)
I realize that there are surely many filters out there that do this stuff, but I could use some guidance. Which ones would you recommend? Which ones come close to the one in the movie?
I also use After Effects by the way.

https://www.sstdigitalmedia.comI have a system, it has stuff in it, and stuff hooked to it. I have a camera, it can record stuff. I read the manuals, and know how to use this stuff and lots of other stuff too.

Well, if you want simple light leaks, there might be plugins. But if you want sprocket holes…and convincing light leaks, you need keyable foootage like this. I have no doubt that is what the film you linked to did.

Looks a little cheap to me. I think I’ll go with the Luca footage. I am currently convincing the production company to get that.
