  Daisy chaining GPU on top of unsupported GPU

  I just upgraded to R22 and it won’t launch on my laptop because my GPU is no longer supported. What I want to know is if I buy a GPU dock that uses my Thunderbolt connection, will a supported GPU allow the software to work with C4D, despite the Quadro that is no longer supported? This was a very expensive laptop 5 years ago and I dont want to spend another 3 grand just so I can work on C4D, after spending what I just spent on the upgrade! Thanks in advance
