  Da vinci crop and resize

  I need clarification, Resolve manual doesn’t give me clear answers and I have to start my work very soon.

  I use 4k RAW and I want to profit from it in terms of qulity before converting it to Prores. So, my timeline is 1080 and I have ticked “Scale Full frame with crop” in Preferences.

  So, scale is automatically 1 but when I want to crop, but also recomopose , stabilize, fix horizon… basically everything that involves cropping, do I loose quality (artificial magnification)? Or is it better to tick “Center crop with no resizing” and manually resize how I want, but then the majority of clips don’t need any cropping so I loose much time.
