D800 HDMI Reports so far
Hey Guys :
been waiting for the D800 and D4 to get into the wild for the crazy folks to beat them over the head and see what comes out …
The D4 seems to be quite a beast and from what im seeing is even outperforming peoples expectations.Now beginning to get info on the D800 sniffing around the net ….. i found a report saying there is no audio coming out of HDMI with the uncompressed video. Then i found this

The guys seem to be using Edius, but if you look at the bottom of the capture window the audio meters aren’t moving.
Now this may be a setting in the software or in the camera or anything like that but i really hope Nikon didn’t shoot themselves in the foot with this one because it works perfectly fine in the D4 …..Has anyone found other evidence or evidence otherwise or has taken delivery of a D800 and has had to taser it to get audio out of the HDMI ?

Don’t you have to remove the memory cards to get the uncompressed HDMI output?
