I am having real fun with this expression and set up. And one issues. I rotated the lower “limb” prior to parenting and adding the expression. It behaves oddly. The lower limb rotates around the anchor point of the upper limb. Is it necessary for all “limbs” to have a zero rotation before parenting and “expressing”?

The expression should compensate for the original orientation. There must be something else going on.
