Customize Interface / Remove Buttons
How customizable is Premiere Pro’s interface? More specifically, is it possible for me to remove buttons or unnecessary items like the player controls below the viewer and browser windows? Coming from FCP 7 I can say with certainty I’d never use them, also they take up a lot of space and make the interface ugly.

You can’t remove buttons.
You can choose and rearrange panels within a workspace. You can customise keyboard shortcuts.
But you can’t remove buttons.
If this is important to you, you can submit a feature request.
