Custom Transition in FCP?
Hi,
I’m trying to recreate a custom transition that was originally done on that OTHER brand of editing system.
It was a 15 frame dissolve that started 3 frames before the cut.
How can I recreate this in FCP? Is it possible to have something other than StartingOnCut, Centered, or EndingOnCut?

No. You have to roll the edit point to shift the position to approximate what you want.
