  Custom frame rates?

  How can I create an FCP X project in 16 or 18fps? I want to preserve the frame rates of 8mm & Super8 home movies. I’m using 10.4.6.

  If I’m forced to work in one of the preset frame rate options, does FCP X correctly interpret/transcode the original timing so the video is not sped up?
