I have an animation that’s basically like a video presentation…I’m animating a screen inside the production.

Issue is that I produced the animation that has to show on the screen inside the animation but when I rendered out, the animation inside the screen became pixelated and jumpy…I’m guessing this is because I produced it at 16:9 then scaled it down to fit the screen inside the video. (Hope this is clear lol)

So, I’m thinking I need to do an animation the exact size of the screen that’s inside the video so I think I need a project in premiere that’s a custom aspect ration so when I place it inside the other project, within the screen, it doesn’t go pixely, grainy, or jumpy.

Checked the size of the screen and it’s 950x530px.

If you’ve managed to follow that explanation, can you please explain how I can set a new premiere project with this custom ration, please?

File-new sequence-settings, enter 950px for the width, will get you close enough. When you lay it in the larger one, crop the extra 3 pixels if need be. See pic:

After Effects is the best app for this. It formats a composition based on the image and can export that as a custom mov that will automatically import into Pr aspected correctly without rendering. Ae is also better than Pr for visual fx like keying and keyframe animation.

Did what you said. Managed to get my comp setting to 950×530!

The issue now exporting the animation…I can’t get it to export in 950×530…it seems everything I attempt changes the output size of the animation!!

Any ideas how to export and keep ratio as 950×530?
