I edited a clip 2 weeks ago in Pr cs4 and everything worked great, but when I came back to the project today the main footage clip is playing corrupted.
It is very odd! I will do my best to describe what it looks like: The corrupted parts of the frames are shades of red. It’s always in rectangular shapes — it goes from no corruption to most corrupted in 2 second intervals. In the 2 second intervals red will start to appear on the highlights and mid-tones and also in streaks like someone is taking a red paintbrush to the footage and it moves like animated streaks or red…
also the audio is ‘off’ (out of sync) on the clip.
The clip plays the same in AE and with Media Encoder but plays fine in quick time vlc and windows media player

    specs
    vista 64
    cs4 master collection
    the video is mpeg-4

properties of the clip copied out of Pr

    Type: XDCAM-EX Movie
    File Size: 344.7 MB
    Image Size: 640 x 480
    Pixel Depth: 32
    Frame Rate: 12.87

I think the frame rate is supposed to be 15 like the other clips I have.
If you have any idea what is happening here, your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you! — Brian Cahill
