  Ctrl + C some text and place it into a var inside my jsx file. AE Extendscript

  I want to copy some text using Ctrl + C (<font face=”inherit”>from </font>anywhere<font face=”inherit”>) and have access to that text inside my jsx file. Put it into a variable. (for win & mac)</font>

  I found this post: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects/how-can-i-copy-string-in-a-variable-to-clipboard-in-extendscript/m-p/10930590. But it’s the other way around, it’s sending text to the clipboard.
