  CS6.02 Mac – Preview render not working

  I have some clips that I changed the scale, giving me the red line on the top of the timeline. So I set the work area bars over the red line and hit Enter to preview render. The render window comes up, counts down, shows it’s progress until the preview render is done, then vanishes. And the line is still red instead of turning green. And the footage still plays all choppy. Am I missing a setting for setting up the preview render in CS6? I had no issues with 5.5
