Cs6 Warp Stabilizer 8 hours to Analyze; still Stabilizing

Computer: Windows 7 home premium; Processor:Intel ram 4GB;
The analyzing took 8 hours; It’s been stabilizing for 17 hours.
Inbetween the 2 stages, I recall seeing the screen saying it was “saving,” but I don’t know how long it took. On the screen, in addition to the orange “stabilizing” banner, the computer has the little circle that spins when the computer is processing.
This is only the 2nd time I’ve tried to use it. The first time, it took too long & I gave up. I even contacted premier pro & they took control of my computer. One thing they said was they thought my computer was running too slow, but I don’t think that was the real problem.

Valerie, this is likely one place where adding way more RAM might help. 4 GBs is reallly not a recommended RAM size for running CS6 and trying to do something like warp. I believe that Adobe recommends 8GBs for running Pr. Also you don’t mention the setup of your computer, i.e. hard disk setups, sizes, etc. There could be a basic issue that is happening that we are unaware of because we don’t know how you have setup your machine. If I thought I had to do a long w.s. frequently , I would consider going to at least 16GBs of RAM. And maybe run it on a second computer (G).
You might want to do a 30 second test to see if it’s slow there too. But yes, it’s been my experience that warp stab. is a slow process.

Also do you REALLY need to stabilize the whole clip? The Warp Stabilizer is insanely computing heavy and it would be better to stabilize only the needed clips.
