    Good afternoon one and all,

I’m new to editing in CS5.5- my last editing experience was on tape (I know, that dates me…)- I have 2 video files from a client (one from a Canon Vixia HF-S10, one from a GoPro Hero 2) that I am trying to sync so I can do some editing and packaging.

How do I sync up both files (they are 2 different views of a wedding)? I don’t want to merge (unless I’m not understanding what ‘merged files’ means…)the files, I want them as two seperate and distinct files so I can use both views to edit this video.

To complicate matters:the Canon footage has better audio for 95% of the length of the recording, but the GoPro was placed right in front of where the readings were performed…I need both (well Canon L & R + GoPro mono)audio tracks…

Sorry for the very long request,

    Jean

    I am on a PC, running PPro CS5.5.2 (MC:258762)

Synced via audio…a PITA, but it worked!

I’m glad you figured it out. I’ve had to do this a couple times with home video projects I’ve done.
