November 23, 2011 at 8:35 pmIf you installed the full version over the trial version, I’d try an uninstall…and a reinstall as it sounds like PPro didn’t download the res of the codecs that it needs in the retail version…

August 16, 2012 at 2:54 amI had a similar issue with P2 media and found that removing the cache fixed this problem (although if you’re on a tight deadline, you can also use another app like FCP to ingest the clip in question and bounce the file over to Premiere Pro, importing it for use in your project there)
What I did was open up AME, open preferences, and select media > clean media cache database
