Folks: I’m a 10%-er, but have been using since v.2.. (Mac version) I waited to upgrade from 3 to 5 and ..mostly all is fine, but I have this problem where I like to drag-n-drop with two windows open.

I select Open .. and then select Open a second time .. only to find that #1 Open is not on the desktop any longer .. I have to go to Recent to pull it back up .. but #2 closes when #1 opens again.. It’s like that classic comedy routine; “Who’s on First?”

    Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Press F to exit full screen mode.. may need to cycle

Can also go under window and turn off the application frame

Thanks Richard .. It turns out my problem was something about ‘Tabs’ in the Prefs… ‘Open Docs as tabs’ .. would not allow two windows open at the same time.

Hell, I sometimes have three open so I can crossbreed a new image with parts of older ones. Thanks again. Cheers.
